Watertown Woman Pleads Guilty In Robbery Case

A 37 year old Watertown woman has taken a plea deal in a robbery case which involved a knife.

Alicia Schnelly of 133 North Orchard Street appeared Wednesday in Jefferson County Court, where she pleaded guilty to third-degree robbery, third-degree assault and forth-degree criminal possession of a weapon

In June, Watertown police said a 59 year old man was robbed of cash and was injured with a knife during an incident on North Orchard Street.

There were three injuries total. One person was treated at the scene and two were treated at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown and released.

Schnelly was arrested and charged in the case.

She will be sentenced October 26. She faces six months in jail and five years probation.
