Inmate Faces Whopping 28,000 Criminal Counts For Making Phone Calls

An inmate faces an astounding 28,851 criminal counts for actions he allegedly committed while in the Lewis County Jail.

Sheriff's deputies arrested 40 year old Shaun Liscum of Lyons Falls for allegedly making 9,671 phone calls to a person who has an order of protection against him.

The calls were allegedly made from March through September of this year while Liscum was an inmate at the county jail.

Liscum faces 9,617 counts of second-degree aggravated harassment, 9,617 counts of aggravated family offense and 9,617 counts of first-degree criminal contempt.

He was arraigned in county court and was returned to the jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
