Jefferson Community College board members got a look Wednesday at some updates that happened around campus over the summer.
The fitness center has new equipment and new turf and the administration building and the student lounge in the Jules Center were renovated.
Board members say they were pleased to see the changes.
"It's amazing and it's really a tribute to the vision of JCC to continue to maintain what was built some 60 years ago and some more recently, 20 years ago," board member Pam Beyor-Murtha said.
"A lot of the stuff you see around this building, you see the paints are different, the colors are different, the flooring is different, all stuff that we're bringing things to the modern times," vice president for administration Dan Dupee said.
Dupee says the projects were completed with money from student fees and state and local grants.
