This weekend, the Sackets Harbor Quilt Show showcased quilts from local collections and even winners of an international competition called the Hoffman Challenge.
Something new this year was the show spread across five venues in the village.
There were also sewing demonstrations and vendors.
This year's theme was 'The Red Thread.'
"Red is a key color in quilting history. It kind of represents the hearth, the home, warmth, and it's a very popular color that has endure dover centuries," said Christine Eggleston, Quilt Show co-organizer. "People have been using red in their quilts since there was thread to make quilts."
The theme for next year's quilt show will be 'Cabins and Cottages.'
