Posted: Updated:

When the Watertown Rapids collegiate league baseball team takes to the diamond next summer, they'll be led by a new coach.

At a press conference at Jefferson Community College on Tuesday, the Rapids announced that Michael Woods of Seneca Falls would be coaching the team in 2019.

The current assistant coach of St. Lawrence played college baseball at JCC in 2014 and 2015 and then at Division II Davison-Elkins College.

You can hear from him in the video, along with Rapids general manager Brandon Noble and team co-owner Mike Schell.
