Stacking pancakes to help the Salvation Army. Volunteers say between 500 and 600 people stopped to the The Salvation Army in Watertown for it's all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast on Sunday. Hungry visitors enjoyed pancakes, french toast, and sausage.
Proceeds go towards funding projects and helping the community during the holiday season.
"What these do, they supply not only Christmas gifts. They also supply meals, a lot of meals. You can come in and take home what you need. You also can come in and eat, like on Thanksgiving day," said Paul Simmons, a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors.
There will be another pancake breakfast fundraiser in the spring.
