Still Deciding Who to Vote For? This Might Help

With Election Day on Tuesday, here are some ways to learn about the candidates you could see on your ballot here in the north country.

WHERE DO I VOTE?

Click here to go to a government website where you'll type in your name and zip code and other information to see where your polling place is. Polling places will be open Tuesday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m..

WHO'S ON MY BALLOT? 

BallotReady.org is a website that lets you compare candidates for every race on your ballot by typing in your address. The website provides candidates' positions on issues and links to more information about them. You can even save your choices who to vote for, print them out and bring them with you when you vote. BallotReady is the place the U.S. government's voter information website sends you to when researching candidates.

STATE SUPREME COURT JUSTICE - 5TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT

As far as the north country goes, the 5th Judicial District State Supreme Court Justice race affects voters in Jefferson and Lewis counties. You can pick four when voting. Syracuse.com had all eight candidates submit letters to voters explaining why they are the best person for the job.

WHERE TO FIND ELECTION RESULTS TUESDAY NIGHT

Soon after polling places close results across the north country and state will start rolling in. 7 News will have live election results Tuesday night. You can watch on 7 News Tonight with Jeff Nelson at 10 p.m. on WNYF Fox 28 - Your North Country Fox and 11 p.m. on WWNY. You can also see election results here on wwnytv.com.
