Watertown Native Wins Congressional Seat In PA

A Watertown native, who now lives just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has won a seat in Congress.

Mary Gay Scanlon, a 1976 graduate of Watertown High School, won the 5th Congressional District.

During a visit to Watertown in May, Scanlon told 7 News she's big on public education and said during her career as a lawyer she focused on children and families as well as civil rights.
