Fledgling Falcons Soar To School Firsts

The South Lewis Falcons certainly soared this season.

It's a success story four years in the making for the fledgling boys' soccer team.

At the end of those four seasons of existence, the Falcons captured both Frontier League and Section 3 titles -- both firsts for the school.

The architect of the program, Coach Ed Collins, says he knew at the start of the season it would be a good one, but he didn't realize how good.

"Could I have imagined that we went that far? Probably not that far, but I knew that it was going to be a pretty productive season," he said.

Watch the video to hear more from the coach, plus the thoughts of players Tristan McAleese, Matthew Skorupa, and Drew Crofoot as they look back on the growth of the team.
