The proposal to turn Canton's The Club restaurant into a church now also has opposition from LGBTQ rights advocates who say they oppose it on moral grounds:
If this church is not in agreement with the LGBTQ lifestyle, then don’t attend services there!
What ever happened to freedom of religion? I am so sick of hypocrites!
A virtual sports complex could be coming to Watertown in the former Cici's Restaurant. A retired Fort Drum soldier is trying to make it happen:
I’m all for people starting a business but I don’t see this doing well.
Hope it works out. I know I will be golfing in there.
St. Lawrence County residents want more places to shop. In a recent survey people rated shopping opportunities worse than energy costs, local government and even taxes:
Yup. My family can't believe we drive 2 hours for a chain restaurant.
Seriously? Shopping is worse than paying $200 a month for Spectrum and being raped by National Grid every month as well?

I have to drive almost an hour to Watertown to do any decent shopping! Slim pickings in Ogdensburg area.
