Chaumont Bay

Walleyes have returned; catch on worm harnesses with chartreuse or purple beads in 17 to 25 feet of water.

St. Lawrence River

Walleyes still not congregating in usual fall pattern, and fish are found anywhere between 17 to 70 feet of water. Best advice: fish deeper, sudden drop-offs with worm harnesses or deep diving crank baits.

Oswegatchie River

“Gigantic” muskies are being taken by small boat anglers between Ogdensburg and the dam in Heuvelton. Use large bucktail spinners or surface plugs.
