The St. Lawrence River Walleye Association (SLRWA) will hold its 10th annual Waddington Bass and Walleye Fall Classic on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Fishing hours are from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., and all boats must be in the water at the Waddington Boat Launch at Whitaker Park by 6:30 a.m.
Cash awards and other prizes will be awarded at JC’s River Run Bar and Grill at 4 p.m.

St. Lawrence River
Northern pike hitting at 20 to 30 feet, edge of weed beds, on bigger shiners. For lure try deep-diving X-raps, huskie jerks, and reef runners in black, blue or purple, all with silver.
Salmon staging in trench outside Black River bay, readying for fall spawning run up Black River. Fish are being caught 100 feet down on spindoctors and flies in green, blue or glow chartreuse.
Through Edwards, large population of smallmouth bass, walleye and big pike.
