The project will bring bike lanes, sidewalks, shared roadway signs and new pavement to Clarkson Ave. within the village. It will also fund repaving on Pine St.; shared roadway signs on Maple St., Pierrepont Ave., Elm St., and Main St.; and new sidewalks on Leroy St. from Bradley Dr. to May Rd. and on May Rd. from Leroy St. to the bank.
The $1.45 million project was applied for through the New York State Transportation Enhancement Program (TEP) and funded by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
