Members of Beta Sigma Phi, an international women's organization, were joined by several volunteers at the Urban Mission on Veteran's Day to prepare 200 Christmas baskets to be sold in the Impossible Dream Store at a minimal price.
Mary Morgan, executive director, was on hand to watch the impressive assembly line construction of the prettily wrapped baskets. The ladies accomplished their goal in just 2 hours!
As one of its service projects, the sorority prepares baskets for several holidays each year, including Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day and Christmas.
