As a holiday surprise my husband and I purchased a Family Traditions package through Santa's Workshop at North Pole, NY. We jumped in the car the day after Thanksgiving and didn't tell them where we were going until we arrived at the hotel, 1/2 mile from the workshop. When we pulled up to the stop sign they could read the sign and our oldest daughter screeched with delight. Our children, ages 3, 6, & 8, had never been there. It was such a memorable weekend. The met Santa at the hotel and received gifts, they experienced the first snowfall of the season right at the park and no one complained about the cold or the snow...not once. They fed reindeer and went on rides in their snow gear! It was a weekend to remember. Kyra, Kody, & Kyle will be receiving surprise photo books filled with pictures from this vacation. The best part of the story is that we found out that an opening was available just 2 days before. We traveled 3 hours there and 3 hours back. It was the perfect timing for the ages of our children... it brought the magic of the holiday season to life!
