Refuge from predator on welcome mat

An adult, and apparently healthy Canadian goose seeks refuge on a porch and settles down for a meal of corn and water on the welcome mat. At one point while venturing away from his temporary sanctuary a bald eagle flies down the shore line, and instead of flying away the goose runs back to the porch.
