Rhonda Foote, Director of Rhonda's FooteWorks in Watertown and Lowville, NY has been nominated to receive the President's Award for Liberal Arts in Practice as an alumna of Hartwick College. The award is presented to an alumna or alumnus of the College who extends the values that are inherent in a Hartwick education into their life work, to the benefits of others. The winning nominee will be announced in March, and the award will be presented at the College's 2011 Commencement ceremony on May 28, 2011.
Hartwick College is a liberal arts college in Oneonta, NY that was established in 1797. Ms. Foote is a 1985 honors graduate who majored in English Literature and Creative Writing and minored in Theater Arts and Dance.
Rhonda's FooteWorks' motto is "Where Dance Is An Art" and the studios have offered quality dance education in Northern New York since 1987. Summer registration opens on May 1st. More information regarding the studio is available at www.rhondasfooteworks.com .
