Rhonda Foote, Director of Rhonda's FooteWorks dance studios in Watertown and Lowville, NY is honored to be nominated to receive the President's Award for Liberal Arts in Practice from Hartwick College. This award is presented to an alumna or alumnus of the College who extends the values that are inherent in a Hartwick education into their life work, to the benefits of others.
The winning nominee will be announced in March, and the award will be presented at thee College's Commencement ceremony on May 28, 2011.
Hartwick College is a Liberal Arts College in Oneonta, NY established in 1797. Ms. Foote was an honors graduate in 1985, receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Ms. Foote minored in Theater Arts and Dance.
Rhonda's FooteWorks has offered quality dance education in Northern New York since 1987. The studio's Outreach Company has raised over $13,000.00 for local individuals and communities since 2005.
