Regional National Dance Week Representative, Rhonda Foote, says "Dance is a
celebration! It uniquely combines art and exercise and is truly something
anyone of any age can find joy in. National Dance Week offers us a chance to
share that joy with others. We genuinely hope that everyone shares this news
and comes to share this celebration of dance with us".
National Dance Week, sponsored by the United Dance Merchants of America,
celebrates the contributions that dance makes to our culture, and seeks to
spread the word that dance benefits the mind, body and spirit. NDW encourages
everyone to get involved in dance at any level and in any capacity, to help
dance make a difference in every community, and in people's lives. Up-to-date
