For the second time this season, the Watertown Pee Wee Rapids drove home on a Sunday afternoon with a Championship Trophy added to their season. For the last 3 days, the Rapids have been participating in the Pepsi Invitational Hockey Tournament in Buffalo, NY. Not only did they bring home the 1st Place trophy, but they did it by accomplishing not one or two but 4 shut out games! On Firday the Pee Wee Rapids defeated the Lysander Lightning 2-0; on Saturday Cazenovia Park 6-0; on Sunday the Mohawk Vipers 4-0 and then for the Championship, the Buffalo regals 3-0 in their home rink! Players of the Game for the weekend included Trevor Christopher, Hunter Foley, Jordan Jenner and Larry Nolan. The Shut Out Goalies were Noah Crandall and Joe Foisy. And the rest of the winning team...Coach Phil Jenner, Coach Justin Keegan, Coach Jon Richards, Coach Don Rutherford, Alex Keegan, Kyle Currier, Jonathan Richards, Corey Rutherford, Abraham Poku, Chase Montrois, John Angus, Preston Siegfried, and John Moore. Congratulations to the entire team for an amzing win and bringing home another 1st Place Trophy to Watertown!

MY son Nikolas Gardner was apart of this team last year and he is so happy for the team but he wishes he could have tasted the sweet taste of victory with them. Way to go RAPIDS!!!
