Approximately 30 company dancers from Rhonda's FooteWorks attended Access
Broadway Regional competition the weekend of March 25th in Liverpool, NY.
The entire studio did a wonderful job and received an array of medals and
awards.
The RFW Tap Team, in particular, had a great weekend of competition. The Tap
Team racked up a line of high gold medals, scoring in the upper brackets of
their divisions.
Three of the four Grand Champion awards received by the studio were won by Tap
Team members. First year company dancer, Allison Kruger, won overall Grand
Champion in the 8 & under debut tap division. Allison performed "Recipe For
Love". Izzy Marsala, a Sr. Company dancer, won 2nd place Grand Champion honors
for her tap solo, "40 Days" in the 13-15 yr old tap division. Madi Draper and
Brianna Lockwood, both Sr. Company dancers, received 2nd place Grand Champion
honors for their tap duet, "Count On Me" in the 13-15 tap duo/trio category.
All three of the winning tap numbers were choreographed by studio director,
Rhonda Foote
The fourth grand championship was awarded to Maria Bufalini. Maria sang "Gimme,
Gimme" in the Broadway song division to place 2nd Grand Champion in the 16-19
age category.
