The first Wounded Warriors Fishing Derby, sponsored by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and FISHCAP, brought 16 Fort Drum soldiers to the St. Lawrence River at Ogdensburg on June 4. All hit the river with local expert captains to find prize-winning pike and walleye, then were treated to a shore lunch. The soldiers' families were on hand, too, to try some fishing of their own from shore.
