United Helpers Nursing Home is pleased to announce a new service “a virtual room” that is readily available to all residents, giving them access to connect and communicate with family and friends around the world. This “virtual room” allow residents to not only make a phone call to their loved ones but also interact with them remotely in their home despite the miles between them. Pictured is Julia Cosentino, resident, speaking with her nephew John Donaleski from Texas. After five years of not seeing her nephew, Cosentino was able to visit with Donaleski while viewing his home and garden via the new service offered at United Helpers Nursing Home.
