Every year as the first day of summer approaches, the suns rays at sunrise are at the perfect angle to reflect off the glass at the top of the lighthouse at crossover island making the lighthouse appear to be to be lighted. this only occurs a couple days each year when the sunrise is at the proper angle, really cool
