Gouverneur Native Plays Two Local Shows

Gouverneur, NY ( August 1, 2011)--Gouverneur Native and Drummer for "Bo Bice", Austin Curcuruto will be bringing his funk rock trio to the The American House in Edwards on Friday, August 12 and Mullins Restaurant in Gouverneur on Saturday, August 13.

Friday nights' performance will consist of Larry Holly opening the show with his original acoustic country songs from 8 to 9, followed by the Waydown Wailers (Dave Parker, Christian Parker, Michael “Scruffy” Scriminger, Barry Carson, and Matt Gayle) from 9 to 10, and then Austin Curcuruto (drums) and fellow "Bo Bice" band members Bart Walker (guitar) and CJ Wilder (bass) from 10 to 1. Saturday nights’ performance will run from 9-12 pm featuring Austin Curcuruto, Bart Walker and CJ Wilder.

Curcuruto is a 2002 graduate from Gouverneur Central High School and was named runner up for Up & Coming 2010 "Modern Drummer" Readers Poll. He has toured with modelesc popstar "Tiffany" and is currently on tour with "Bo Bice". He is proudly endorsed by Pearl Drums and Hardware, Pro Mark Drumsticks, and Evans Drumheads. Bart Walker has toured with “Delbert McClinton” and is currently on tour with "Bo Bice". CJ Wilder has toured with "Ashton Shepard", "Easton Corbine", and is also currently on tour with "Bo Bice".

“Coming home to play means the world to me,” said Curcuruto. “I am excited to share some of my closest and most talented friends with the people I come from.”

Tickets for the August 12 show at The American House are $5 at the door. Tickets for the August 13 show at Mullins Restaurant are $10 pre-tickets or $15 at the door. Please contact Mullins Restaurant for advance tickets.
