Proud dancers at the Jefferson County Fair Talent Competition

Dance World dancers compete in NYS Fair

On August 31st, dancers from Dance World in Watertown will compete in the New York State Talent Hunt at the New York State Fair. The dancers will be competing against winners from local county fairs all over the state.
On July 13th, the dancers competed in the Jefferson County Fair and won the chance to compete in the State Fair. Rachel Filkins, Bradlee Duerr and Rebekka Reed all earned a 3rd place finish for their jazz piece. Bradlee Duerr received a 2nd place ribbon for his modern solo and Alaina Keruski won 1st place for her lyrical solo. All of the students were invited to compete in the Jefferson County finals on July 16th.
All of the dancers have worked hard over the past year and these results show the dedication and excellence these students possess. Dance World is so proud of its dancers!
