Maplewood Campus recently raised the American flag on its newly purchased flag pole. Randy Burke, Commander of the Canton VFW Post 1231 raises the new flag as Lloyd LaValley of the American Legion, Post 74 in Potsdam salutes. The flag pole at Maplewood Campus is the generous gift of the Canton VFW Post 1231; American Legion Post 74 of Potsdam; North Country Savings Bank; Maplewood Veterans Les Peters, Bob Parmer, and Gerry Pike; and Maplewood staffers Bernie Bezio, Angel Smithers and Patience Boswell.
