This used to be a beautiful sofa. However, we purchased Sadie May, a dog from a rescue downstated. She had been abandoned on a Tennessee highway at just a few days old. She a beautiful girl, but had separation anxiety at first, and chewed EVERYTHING! We've had to throw out a rug, a recliner, a pair of eyeglasses, 15 pairs of shoes, etc. You get the picture. We're down to just one other recliner at this point and really NEED some new furniture. This one has been sewn up so many times that my husband calls it "The Frankstein Couch." We didn't enter the last Ugliest Couch contest because we wanted to wait until she had settled before we tried to win (no since letting her destroy more furniture). You deserve to win just for the compassion you have shown to that poor dog and for the patience you've had looking at this sorry old couch. I would have thrown it long ago. You certainly get my vote!
