The Watertown Rapids Blue Mite team won the gold medal at the Can/Am Challenge Cup Tournament this weekend in Lake Placid, NY. The team went undefeated in all five games and was led by head Coach Michael Goodwin and assistant coaches Jeff Wiley and Shawn Swears to a 3 - 2 victory in the championship gold medal game defeating the Junior Flyers from Philadelphia, PA in the 1980 Olympic Arena. Congratulations Rapids! We are so proud of you!!
