Rhonda's FooteWorks scholarship winners
Members of Rhonda's FooteWorks were honored to be selected scholarship recipients at Access Broadway regionals in Syracuse, NY on Sunday, March 25th.Madison Draper, Croghan and Rachel Sousa, Sacketts Harbor, participated in the vocal and drama workshop held with prestigious faculty from Access Broadway. The girls took vocal, acting and dance classes that culminated in a professional audition.Studio dancers Isabelle Marsala, Watertown and Emma Sturdivant, Evans Mills, also participated in the workshop for dancers where they took class in hip hop, broadway jazz and lyrical dance.All four studio members made it to the final cut of the audition, and Madison and Rachel were then announced as audition winners. The girls study voice with Ticia Marra, and are members of Ticia Marra's Stage Notes.The girls receive a scholarship to return to the workshop next season, are featured in the Access Broadway brochure for 2012-13 and are eligible to be called for professional auditions in film, commercial or theatrical work.Rhonda's FooteWorks is located in Watertown and Lowville, NY and Summer registration is now open.
