Jefferson Jaguars are Finalists in Forest, Ontario

Jefferson Jaguars Compete in Forest, ON

Back in December 2012, the Jefferson Jaguars Pee Wee Team competed in and won the Regional International Silver Stick tournament in Rome, NY, which qualified them to move on to the International Silver Stick Finals Tournament in Forest, Ontario.

Over the weekend of January 11, 12 and 13, the Jefferson Jaguars Pee Wee Team played in the International Silver Stick Finals Tournament in Forest, Ontario. The Jaguars won all of their games to qualify for the Championship game, facing teams from Indiana, Colorado and Canada. All of the teams participating in the Finals tournament were winners of their respective regional tournaments. The Jaguars ultimately lost by a slim margin of 2-1 in the Championship game against Ottawa West, but are extremely proud of their accomplishments and being named "Finalist" in this competition. The team wishes to thank local sponsors that helped with the cost of attending the tournament.
