RFW faculty receives fellowships
Rhonda Foote, Director and Owner of Rhonda's FooteWorks dance studios based in Watertown, NY, is proud to announce that two of its faculty members have received choreographic fellowships to the NYIDE Dance Festival slated for July, 2013.Mrs. Bree Shields and Miss Kierstyn Zaykoski have received awards in the amount of $1,000.00 each to attend the festival. New York Institute of Dance Education President, Sean McLeod, bestowed the fellowships based on their works presented at Choreographer's Feast on February 16th in Watertown, NY. Mr. McLeod was the Master of Ceremonies for the event.Mrs. Bree Shields is in her second year on faculty at Rhonda's FooteWorks. She teaches hip hop and ballet and jazz and contemporary at the Watertown location. Bree comes from "out west" as a military wife. Her extensive dance education, combined with her common belief with Rhonda that dance should be used to better the communities we live in, has made her a terrific asset to the studio.Kierstyn Zaykoski is "Rhonda Raised". Kierstyn began studying with Rhonda Foote at age 5. She was an award winning and scholarship awarded student throughout her studio career. Kierstyn attended Potsdam College, where she was an active part of the dance program. Kierstyn is a school teacher locally, and instructs ballet, modern , contemporary and acrobatic classes at the Watertown studio.For further information about the studio, please email email@example.com.
