RFW places high at Fair

Local studio win at Fair

Rhonda's FooteWorks was well represented at the Jefferson County Fair Talent Hunt.
In the preliminary competition, the studio swept the tap and clog category: third place went to the Come Sail Away tap group of Erinn Conlin, Alex Davis, Madison Draper, Brianna Lockwood and Izzy Marsala; second place was earned by Brianna Lockwood tapping to "Rumor Has It" and Izzy Marsala claimed first place honors with her clog solo to "Fastest Girls In Town".
In the Open/Variety Category the song and dance duo of Madison Draper and Brianna Lockwood placed first and in the Vocal category, Madison Draper won first place honors with her rendition of "Good Morning Baltimore".
All of the acts from Rhonda's FooteWorks won in the preliminary competition and all will be continuing on at the New York State Fair Talent Hunt in August.
In the finals of the talent hunt, the studio won two of three championships. The third place Grand Champion was "What I Did For Love", a song and dance duo by Madison Draper and Brianna Lockwood. Second place Grand Champion was Madison Draper, performing "Good Morning Baltimore". Madison is a private vocal student of Ticia Marra and a member of Stage Notes, as well as an elite company dancer at Rhonda's FooteWorks.
