Live Bluegrass with GrassTransit!

Russell Opera House Concert

Come and listen to the vibrant vocal arrangements of GrassTransit at the Russell Opera House, May 24, 2014, 7:00-9:00 pm. GrassTransit’s unique sound centers on harmony. Their vocal arrangements, backed by Rick Williams’ driving mandolin, Ken Alger’s melodic banjo and Lee Alger’s rhythmic bass, yield a sound that’s much larger than expected from a three-piece group. These lifetime musicians play with a mature, heartfelt style that lends bluegrass energy and feel to their country, swing and traditional repertoire. Admission is a donation to the Opera House; refreshments and 50/50 raffle at intermission. For more information: or call Tess Eells at 315-347-2358.
