After a spectacular flight, thousands of feet over the Catskills this Paraglider pilot eventually has to return to earth. It may seem like a risky task but actually its quite easy. Pointing the giider directly into the wind, its ground speed may only be five or ten mph. As his feet nearly touch the ground he flairs which stops his forward motion, sets his feet down and then turns to the side to "dump" the Para-glider.
Even though this is considered a paracute type wing, all pilots still carry a reserve chute but would most likely never have to use it.
