Dancers from Julie's Dance Studio in Ogdensburg, NY are getting ready for their upcoming recitals on May 29 and 30 at 6pm and May 31 at 2pm. The shows will once again be sponsored by the Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club with all proceeds going back into the community in the form of scholarships. Julie's Dance Studio is located at 206 B-C Ford Street and offers spring and summer classes starting soon in tiny tots beginner's dance and couples classes. Performances in this year's recitals include girls tap, ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, simple irish, pointe, and salsa. Boys will perform tap and hip-hop styles. A baton number will be shown by the studio's twirlers led by Mrs. Kari McCormick and will also march in this summer's upcoming local parades. The dance studio is preparing for the big show by doing mini shows at local nursing homes. They follow up with summer showings in area festivals. The recitals will be held at the George Hall Auditorium at Ogdensburg Free Academy. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Come out and enjoy the fun and entertainment!!!
