A Breathe taking view of the clouds

On April 30, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. I was on Rte 37 between Ogdensburg and Morristown and the sky wasjust breathe taking. I can not recall ever seeing such a sight. The sky was white with what like like paint brush strokes of gray the pictures do not capture the depth . I would like to know the type of clouds these are.

I saw the clouds on Apr. 30th and how right you are. They were beautiful!!! I only wish I had my camera with me. Further South on St. Hwy. 37, there were more undulant, grey clouds in the mix.
