Brandon Sweet uses the bottom of the track to pass

Clarence Henry Coach #24 Brandon Sweet

Great weekend weather brings a great weekend for the #24 Clarence Henry Coach team! It all started Friday Night at the Can Am Speedway in Lafargeville NY where the #24 car, piloted by Young Brandon Sweet started in the last position in his qualifying heat, he took the high side to go around Dean Patterson's number 3D on the last lap for the Qualifying heat win! In the 25 Lap feature race the #24 started from the 11th position and looked like a FISH going through the water as Brandon was picking off cars on every lap! He found the top of the speedway to be the fast way around traffic and took the lead on lap 17 and drove away for another victory at his home track!
Saturday night brought the 1st SUNY Canton Series race! by the luck of a bad draw, the #24 Clarence Henry Coach ride started in the back of his qualifying heat and drove a great race to get into the redraw for the feature! On the redraw Brandon pulled the 11th starting position out of the hat and once again had alot of work to do in the feature to get to the front. Brandon had a really fast car Saturday night and "drove it like he stole it" as on lap 25 moved into the 3rd position, the top two cars had a half of track lead over the #24 by time he got into 3rd, Brandon was able to run the leaders down and on the last lap going into turn 4, he started a run to the outside of the second place car, as the second place car drifted to the top of the speedway, Brandon made a "sick" move to the inside of him and took the second position by a nose as the checkered flag flew!
