The Watertown High School Girls Lacrosse Team will play in the semifinals of the Class B State Championship on June 12th. The Cyclones have had an incredible string of victories in early June to reach the semifinals.
On June 2nd (top photo), the Cyclones beat East-Syracuse Minoa 9-7 in the Class B title game at SUNY Cortland to win the first Section 3 Championship in the program's nine year history. On June 4th (bottom photo) at Ithaca High School, the Cyclones posted a regional victory of 9-5 over Vestal of Section 4 to move in to the quarterfinals of the Class B State Championship. At Potsdam High School on June 6th, the Cyclones overpowered the Section 10 representative Massena 20-2 in the quarterfinals to move on to it's first final four.
This Friday, June 12th, the Watertown Girls Lacrosse Team will play Section 8's Garden City in the semifinals at 2:30 at SUNY Cortland. Go Cyclones!
