Our Dad is 83 years old, and a Veteran of World War II. He has six children, twelve grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Who are very lucky to have him. Our mom passed away in December 1998. Dad is the one who held the family together at a bad time in his life. He is a very kind and caring man that would do anything for anybody, He loves to talk, share stories, visit and he has a heart of gold. One of his children had major Brain Surgery, he made many many trips for two months to Syracuse. He held her hand and said " I love you, you'll be okay, your strong, you'll get through this." I know because I am that girl.
He is now considered legally blind and must depend on family and friends to take him to the store, doctors, and other places. He lives alone and sees enough to take care of himself (just can't drive anymore). He has been there for us, now we are there for him and that's why he has earned the title of being the greatest dad!
