People think of rats as creepy, crawly, disgusting creatures. Little do they know, a domestic rat can be as cute as a puppy! Our pet rat, Twitch, is adorable and playful. She loves to burrow, climb, and cuddle. She was named after a mouse character in a children's book, but when we saw her in the store, she lived up to her name. She jumped right out of the salesman's hands and ran for the door! To this day, she still loves to bolt.
