These pics are the aftermath of the high winds that blew thru late yesterday afternoon. It upropoted a large maple at the home of my parents Mel & Ellen Klock & also damaged a tree at Lee Klock's farm. We have a HUGE poplare tree that extends 30 ft. above our house & I was pretty concerned about that, but we managed to escape any falling limbs from this tree. The maple that fell at the Klock's house narrowly escaped hitting the house & just did damage to an adjacent tree that was closer to the house. A beautiful tree destroyed within a few minutes of a nasty rain storm.
