Give Me Four Hundred and Forty Laps

Four hundred and forty first-year students at Clarkson University participated in a "lap sit" circle during their orientation on August 22. The "new game" activities, which also included earth ball volleyball, raccoon circles and parachute toss, were designed to assist students in getting to their fellow housing residents. Lap sit builds trust and support as the students hold each other up. Clarkson hopes to break the lap-sit world record in the near future.
