Location: Southville State Forest - West Stockholm, NY

The Southville State Forest between West Stockholm and Rt 11B (known locally as "The Sands") - Has marked trails for xcountry skiing and snow shoeing - part of trail follows the St Regis River. It is a combination of state and county forest with 541 acres - the majority of the land being on the river side of the road. Very colorful and enjoyable after snow falls.
