Camp McQuade

Family Sundays at Camp McQuade

A couple of years ago my parents bought a small one room camp on the Oswegatchie River in the Town of Dekalb. What a family blessing. Although we've always been a close family, the memories that my parents, their 5 children & spouses, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and more family/friends have made at Camp McQuade. Every Sunday is camp day. My Aunt and Uncle from Scotland enjoyed a camp day as caught in the first photo with many of the little ones. A Hawaiin Luau was held this summer for the kids and in the last photo, just a typical Sunday at camp. What stories we all have and so many generations!! What a true blessing that we are all thankful for - Camp McQuade!!

I would be one of the grandchildren mentioned above. I love spending time with my two children around the fire pit making smores and talking about our day. This place has been a part of so many memories over the last 5 years and will continue to be.
