Christmas Tree 2009

Each Magical Christmas

From as far back as I can remember the Christmas tree in our house was always beautiful.Unlike the one I have had for two years, I'm not saying perfect, just beautiful. You know the ones i'm talking about, the tree you go out and look for , whether in the woods or the local tree seller, you scavage the lot making the seller hold up a couple dozen trees and go back to the first one that caught your eye. Then you anxiously bring it home and put it in a tree stand in your living room, marveling at the wondress smell and beauty of this magnificent thing you have hauled into your house. As a child I remember the large and small lighted bulb lightsets, even the ones that bubbled up in themselves. Now adays I only have the tiny red and white ones, but I still see the beauty of the twinkle. I still have many of my mothers antique ornaments on it along with 3 childrens worth of hand made valuable, precious ornament gifts I wouldn't trade away. Then you add my mothers sterling silver garland, that has it's own herloom tarnished look and it is complete, my entire life looking at you for the whole wonderful season. As a child I use to sleep right under the most beautiful branches at night, I wouldn't dare do that any more, I also wouldn't trade all those special memories with my sister for all the tea in china. With all these childhood memories I wish everyone a wonderful, happy, Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.
