The United Church of Copenhagen is located in Copenhagen, New York. It's the church I have attended for about 35 years. The current minister is Pastor Larry Duthie. This photo was taken on my way home from work, just before 5 a.m. on Dec. 29, 2009. Copenhagen is an area that typically receives more than its fair share of snow each season, so I thought the church sign, which reads "Be thankful for God's many blessings," was a nice reminder. I'm not fond of driving in snow and other inconveniences it causes, but I do appreciate the beauty of snowy scenes like this one!
