The results of freezing fog on this barbed wire fence was enhanced by bright sunshine at about 9 a.m. Feb. 3, 2009, at my parents' farm in Copenhagen, New York. The frost on the trees created a spectacular winter wonderland effect. Snow rollers had formed in the fields a few days prior and had been preserved well by the cold temperatures, so I spent time capturing photos of those as well. This was one of the most beautiful winter mornings!
