David Kinney Chosen as NYS All-Region

All season long, David Kinney (Mexico, NY) was an offensive force for the Clarkson University Baseball team, and the sophomore third baseman was recognized as an ABCA/Rawlings New York State Regional All-Star this past weekend.

Kinney, who was picked to the NYS Third-Team, led the Knights in numerous offensive categories and was chosen as a Liberty League First-Team All-Star as well. For the season, he batted .374 (7th in the Liberty League) with a .641 slugging percentage (2nd) while leading the league in home runs with eight despite Clarkson playing in fewer games than any other team in the conference. He also led the team in doubles (11) and total bases (84) while ranking second in runs (29) and hits (49).
