WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Watertown Farm and Craft Market has produce, treats, handmade goods and...Bette Davis.
Writer, producer, and one-woman-show actress Jessica Sherr visited the market Wednesday posing as the 1930s actress to promote her upcoming play.
Her show, “Bette Davis Ain’t For Sissies,” tells the story of Davis as a trailblazing advocate for actors’ rights.
“Bette very much so believed that the only way to live your life is to truly be who you are. So I teach audiences, as does Bette, teaches audiences, to be your best Bette. So I hope that audiences leave with the idea that you don’t have to be idle with the way your life is. If you choose, you can change what isn’t quite right,” said Sherr.
